Purpose of the role:
In this role you will be a key member of the Legal team, independently managing a high volume of work and supporting delivery of the Legal function’s operational agenda in a fast‑paced, complex business environment. This hands‑on role will suit an experienced career paralegal who works autonomously, exercises sound judgement and takes ownership of delivery and outcomes.
Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and proofreading legal documents; managing NDAs and routine contracts end‑to‑end; and maintaining contract and document management systems. The role also involves triaging incoming legal requests, attending meetings and tracking actions, maintaining dashboards and intranet content, and contributing to wider Legal team efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge and skills required for the role:
Demonstrable experience as a Paralegal within an in‑house legal team or similarly demanding environment
Formal paralegal or legal qualification (e.g. CILEx, paralegal diploma, apprenticeship or equivalent experience)
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistently in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent attention to detail, with pride taken in producing consistently high‑quality work
Strong technology literacy and confidence using legal technology and systems, including Microsoft 365, document management and contract lifecycle tools
Exposure to legal operations initiatives (e.g., templates, playbooks, training materials, automation, dashboards or contract repositories) is highly desirable
In‑house legal experience is advantageous but not essential
